Discussion meeting On 5 February 2007 in Zagreb a discussion meeting was held with the participation of the leaders of the three Committees appointed for the organization of the Peace Marathon with the motto “Run for Our Lady!”. The chairman of the Executive Committee Mr. Boris Stepinac presented the participants of the meeting with various activities related to the preparations for the marathon and citizen race that are currently underway and further stated specific actions that yet have to be taken. The chairman of the Honour Committee Mr. Milan Bandić emphasized that all the necessary actions should be taken in order to ensure that the organization of Peace Marathon attains a level that would reach the world standards. The chairman of the Organization Committee Mr. Robert Rukavina presented the Mayor of Zagreb, Mr. Milan Bandić, with the Marathon T-shirt with the start number 1, since Mr. Bandić himself intends to participate in “Run for Our Lady” marathon. Mr. Bandić empowered Mr. Radoslav Bondža, a member of the Honour Committee, to take all the necessary steps in terms of providing the support for the organization and the collection of funds required to cover the expenses of the marathon. The announcement was also made for the official press conference that is scheduled for 14 February 2007 at 13.30 in The WESTIN Zagreb hotel, Kršnjavi street 1. Mr. Milan Bandić, the Zagreb mayor, will also attend the conference.
