Press conference On Saturday, 31 March 2007 the press conference was held concerning the organisation of the Peace marathon “Run for Our Lady” that is scheduled to take place on 19 May 2007. The conference was attended by the chairpersons of the three Committees appointed for the organisation of the Marathon, top officials of the three Herzegovinian municipalities of Grude, Ljubuški and Čitluk along with other guests and reporters. Media representatives were acquainted with the technical, organisational and ideological aspects of the Marathon. The Mayor of Zagreb, Mr. Milan Bandić, expressed his strong moral support for this event by taking an active part in its organisation together with the organisers of the Marathon, KUP - Karmel Association, Athletic team Dinamo- Zrinjevac and STUDIO NADA Ljubuški. All this has significantly improved the chances for this Marathon dedicated to Our Lady to be organised and held according to the highest standards worthy of the Queen of Peace and our proud Herzegovinian land.
